Some of the interesting snowmaking facts about the resort are: more than 60 miles of snowmaking pipe is used; water capacity equals nearly 43 gallons per minute, per acre; overall snowmaking capacity equals 40 tons of snow per minute. As a result, it is considered as “The Snowmaking Capitol of the World”.

Hunter Mountain ski resort has a total of 240 skiable acres with a vertical drop of 1,600 ft, base elevation of 1,600 ft above sea level and summit elevation of 3,200 ft above sea level. The average annual snowfall recorded is about 125’’. It also has a snow tubing park with 9 chutes and also offers snowboarding and snowshoeing.
